Used this cooker about 4 times now. Holds one quart of oil, comes with fry basket and magnetically held power cord. Set the desired temp and wait for the lamp to go off and the unit is up to temp.The lid is notched for the basket handle so it closes during cooking. Had difficulty getting the power cord to stick in place more than once, but it always works in the end. Nice looking compact fryer - capable of one large order of fries at a time. Not ideal for the family of 4, but nicely suited for single or two person use. This is functionally the same as the Presto Fry Daddy, but comes with a basket instead of a scooper, plus this unit looks nicer and has variable temp. The cooking capacity is very similar to the Fry Daddy. No regrets buying this fryer. The only problem I had was with the dealer that hid his location so I unknowingly purchased it from an area I would never knowingly do business with.
